Dr. Giesbrecht was interviewed by Global News where he reported that there appear to be elevated symptoms of postpartum depression and anxiety during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data suggests that more new mothers are experiencing increased postpartum anxiety and depression in the first three months after giving birth.
