Relationship Changes during Pregnancy
Pregnancy starts a new phase of your relationship with your partner. You can expect a natural shift in roles - we may have less time to pay attention to each other or our expectations of each other change. This is normal!
If this is your first child as a couple, your focus on each other will change. There is a new focus of attention on a third party - your future child! After the birth, you will get to know each other in new ways and see each other as parents.
If you have children already, you may know about the limits to “couple time” that parents have. Make sure you schedule some adult time together too, aside from being a parent.

Alberta Health Services: Childbirth and Parenting Education Classes
Alberta Health Services hosts live virtual classes to provide information from experienced educators, as well as a chance to socialize with other expectant moms. These are virtual so you can attend them in the comfort of your own home, and you can bring your partner and kids. Their brochure outlines many free classes along with some paid ones for a low cost.
